Amanda Baber (aka Jones) is an author based in beautiful Devon. She has been writing since she was a child and her work includes Historical Fiction, Poetry, Fiction, Non-Fiction and Short Stories.
Through her Missy Dog Books Amanda supports good causes with her first book ‘Missy and the Whitts’ benefitting Charmouth Local History Society. Missy is Amanda’s flat coated retriever and through Missy’s dreams we travel back into real history as her adventures are brought to life. She meets real people, real creatures and experiences the past in her sleep. In her waking moments she shares her real life exploits and we meet people on her travels; it might be someone you know.
The second book in the series is ‘Missy and the Old Fossils’. Amanda is publishing this book, chapter by chapter, online on her website on her blog: http://amandababerauthor.wordpress.com/
Having a flair for the quirky Amanda also enjoys writing horror and also humorous stories. Her CafeLit stories can be found here: https://cafelitcreativecafe.blogspot.com/search/label/Amanda%20Jones
Amanda also has a GoFundMe campaign running towards printing costs for her Missy Dog Books: The campaign supports good causes. Amanda donates the writing, art, design and illustrations, friends support her with their time, proof-reading, editing, layout and more, but printing is an expense. This campaign supports the creation of a book as a book is for life and supports a charity forever. https://uk.gofundme.com/missy-dog-books-for-good-causes
